This story is about a girl named Fabiola Garza and she really did not want a quinceanera because her parents are in low income and are paying hospital bills. She ends up getting one
because this mean girl named Melodee challenged her on the best quince and Fabi’s sister and best friend ended up trying to help her by saying she’s going to have the best quince. At the beginning Fabi didn’t think it was gonna be the best, her sister sent out a letter to a tv show and she ended up getting picked and got the quince for free. Fabi had problems and secrets along the way but it ended up turning great.
I can relate to Fabiola, I think everybody can relate that they have been bullied in the past and had hard trouble dealing trying to stand up to the bullies, I know I have. Betrayed, at some point you just want to hold all your feelings in but when it gets so bad, when it gets to you, you just wanna break down and just want to be by yourself.
To me personally I love this book, it had me going on the edge of my seat and I can’t wait to read the other books. That’s how good it was to me like I would read it twice or maybe three times. My favorite part in the book that I admire the most is where Daniel, the pizza boy is kind of flirting with Fabi at the mall and at the library, just by the way Fabi described him and how nice he was it was wanting me to know more about him. The part that I would change in the book is that Milo should show up more and talk about him a little bit better he is Fabi’s best friend.
Yes, I would like to recommend this book I would say that this is a really good book and I encourage people to read it. The type of person that would read this book is interested in cultural or just reads good books like this one. I recommend this book for everyone especially teens because its talking about a quince.
